This site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (hereinafter, ‘cookies’) to ensure that the site works correctly, to collect aggregated statistical data on its use and, with your prior consent, to provide third-party functionality. This cookie policy describes in detail the types of cookies used, the purposes of the processing, the providers involved and the ways to manage or withdraw consent.

For the general framework on the processing of personal data, please refer to our Privacy policy.

1. Data Controller

Registered office: Via Gerardo dei Tintori 16, 20853 Biassono (MB)
VAT no.: 02789550130
Email: isabellaflecchia@impulsofuturo.it

For any request relating to cookies, or to the exercise of the rights provided for by Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), please write to the email address above.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the sites visited send to the user’s browser, where they are stored so that they can be sent back to the same sites on the next visit. Alongside traditional cookies there are similar technologies (pixel tags, web beacons, local storage, fingerprinting) that this document treats as equivalent to cookies.

Cookies may be installed directly by the Data Controller of the site visited (first-party cookies) or by third parties whose services are integrated into the site (third-party cookies).

3. Types of cookies used

3.1 Technical and functional cookies (necessary)

These are cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, or to provide services explicitly requested by the user. They do not require consent under Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) of 10 June 2021.

In particular, the site uses:

  • WordPress technical session cookies for the basic operation of the site and of the administration area;
  • CookieYes technical cookies to store cookie consent preferences;
  • browser local storage cookies to store the state of interaction with small components of the site (e.g. opening of information overlays, the choice of cookie preference).

Legal basis: legitimate interests of the Data Controller and technical necessity (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Duration: browser session or up to 6 months (storage of cookie preferences).

3.2 Analytics (statistical) cookies

They collect aggregated information on how the site is browsed (pages visited, length of visit, country of origin, device) for statistical purposes and to improve the user experience. They are installed only with the explicit consent of the user, given through the cookie banner.

In particular, the site uses:

  • Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Ltd., with possible transfer of data to the USA, to Google LLC). IP address anonymised. No cross-device linking. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
    Cookie duration: from 2 minutes to 2 years (cookies `_ga`, `_ga_*`).

Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Retention: until consent is withdrawn or the cookies are deleted from the browser; anonymous aggregations are retained for a maximum of 26 months.

3.3 Third-party cookies for embedded content

The site embeds content and functionality of services provided by third parties. These integrations install their own cookies only if the user interacts directly with the embedded content and after having given consent. In particular:

Calendly (call booking)

Appointment booking widget. Provider: Calendly LLC (USA). It installs its own technical session cookies and analytics cookies when the user opens the widget. Privacy policy: calendly.com/privacy.
Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), limited to the booking.

YouTube (embedded video)

Video player embedded in blog posts. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. Enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com): no cookies are installed until the user starts playback. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Legal basis: consent of the data subject when the video is started (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Google Maps (address map)

Interactive map used, where present, to show the location of the Data Controller. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. It installs technical and preference cookies. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Google reCAPTCHA (form anti-spam)

Anti-spam protection system active on the site’s contact and subscription forms. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. It installs technical cookies and analyses browsing behaviour to identify bots. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Legal basis: legitimate interests of the Data Controller in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3.4 Third-party cookies for email marketing and CRM

When the user completes forms to subscribe to a newsletter, to request free resources or to make contact, the data collected is transmitted to the Data Controller’s systems:

  • Brevo (formerly Sendinblue, Sendinblue SAS, France): email marketing platform used to manage subscriptions and send communications. Privacy policy: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
  • Odoo (Odoo S.A., Belgium): management system and CRM used to manage business contacts. Privacy policy: odoo.com/privacy.

These services do not install cookies on this site; they process the data on the server side once the form has been sent.
Legal basis: consent of the data subject for subscription to informational communications (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); performance of pre-contractual measures for contact requests (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

4. Consent categories available

On first access to the site, the cookie banner allows the user to choose between three options:

  • Accept all: consent applies to all active categories of cookies (technical, analytics, integrated third parties).
  • Essential only (Reject all): only the technical and functional cookies necessary for the site to work are installed. No analytics or third-party cookies are activated.
  • Customise: the user chooses individually which categories to activate (necessary cookies always active, analytics and functional cookies optional).

The consent given lasts 6 months, in line with the Guidelines of the Garante of 10 June 2021. At the end of this period, consent is requested again.

5. How to manage and withdraw consent

Cookie preferences can be changed at any time:

  • by clicking the round green ‘Cookie preferences’ button at the bottom left of every page;
  • by deleting cookies manually through the settings of your browser (see the documentation of the browser used: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge);
  • by writing to the Data Controller at the email address isabellaflecchia@impulsofuturo.it.

The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

6. Data transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of the service providers mentioned (Google, Calendly) may transfer personal data to the United States of America or to other non-EEA countries. In such cases the transfer takes place in compliance with Articles 44 to 49 GDPR, on the basis of:

  • the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023) for certified US providers;
  • the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, where there is no adequacy decision;
  • other appropriate safeguards provided for by law.

The hosting infrastructure of this site (Hostinger server) is located within the European Union.

7. Rights of the data subject

The user has the right, at any time, to exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR: access to their data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. For the extended description of these rights, please refer to the Data Controller’s Privacy policy.

Requests must be sent to: isabellaflecchia@impulsofuturo.it

The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian Data Protection Authority) or with the supervisory authority of the European Union Member State in which they reside or habitually work.

8. Updates to this cookie policy

This cookie policy may be updated over time to reflect regulatory, technological or operational changes to the site. The current version is always published on this page, with an indication of the date of the last update.

In the event of substantial changes affecting the categories of cookies used or the third-party providers, the Data Controller will display the consent banner again, giving the user the opportunity to review their choices.
